Scrubs are designed to unclog pores to prevent blemishes. However, many scrubs just work on the surface of the skin while the blockages that cause spots can occur much deeper in the pore, making them ineffective. Pure Skin Smoothing Face Scrub is smarter than that! It actually does both: Salicylic Acid penetrates deep into the pore to clean it out from the inside, while biodegradable particles work on the surface layer of the skin. This means that it effectively targets and prevents blemishes, unclogs pores and enhances the performance of subsequent products.
Use 1-2 times a week.
Wet face with water, then apply a small amount of face scrub. Massage face gently, then wash off. Avoid the eye area.
Salicylic Acid
Salicylic Acid is a form of beta hydroxy acid (BHA) and a real powerhouse blemish-fighting ingredient, which is why we’ve included it in all of our Pure Skin products. It deeply cleanses and purifies the skin by removing dead skin cells and penetrating deeper into the pores to unclog them. This combined with its antimicrobial properties creates an effective action on existing blemishes but also helps prevent new blemishes from forming.
Soothing Complex
To make our products kinder to the skin, we have added a Soothing Complex of Basil, Green Tea and Panthenol to our products that helps calm blemish-prone skin.
• Panthenol – is very moisturising, soothing and helps soften the skin. It also aids in skin regeneration which makes it a powerful ingredient to help alleviate blemishes, red spots and stressed skin.
- Basil – Antioxidant-rich with a calming effect on the skin. Vitamin C in Basil extract helps soothe stressed skin that occurs when blemishes are forming.
- Green Tea – Rich in nutrients that help soothe blemishes, protect the skin barrier and make skin feel comfortable.
